COTR Limited Edition Calendar

Photo lifted from Patrick Burnham's Flickr
I can think of no one better than Halldór to herald the arrival of January: he is coming for you and there is nothing you can do about it.

On that note, here's a message from Normon Thibault:

Geoff Robson: Hard and Festive

Photo jacked from G-off's FB page.
Geoff Robson has been on an absolute tear this season:  from devastating fixed-gear hill climbs to monstrous CX races, he has been turning heads as the dark horse to watch. It seems only fitting that he would end 2012 with a bang - a 500km bang - as the first Canadian (in Canada) to finish the Rapha Festive 500.

Absolutely inspiring, Geoff!

Hotel Grand Pacific Harbour Sprints - Round 2 Photos & Results

The end of 2012 is rapidly approaching, which means it's time to tie up some loose ends in the Stuckylife blogosphere (read: finally finish some posts from our busy, busy summer). So without further ado, here are the photos from the second and final round of the Hotel Grand Pacific Harbour Sprints!

Although I (Gillian) was in LA and not out there braving the torrential downpour, this was an evening that perhaps best illustrates what Stuckylife and our local community is really about - a willingness to celebrate all forms of cycling, no matter the circumstances, and tradition of general badassery.

Happy Holidays, y'all!

Things got pretty wild on Christmas Day at HQ...

I hope you are all enjoying a frank and productive holiday. As you can see from the photo above, G and I were livin' la vida loca last night at the Herald St. Office while most of the team was out logging some serious Festive 500 miles.

USGP Bend: Cyclocross Mecca

Bend Oregon is the final stop on the US Grand Prix of Cyclocross' four race tour. Yearly, this race draws both elite and amateur riders from a regional and global field. If the calibre of racing isn't enough, the beer garden surely justifies the trip south.

Steal from Scott Mulder

I wouldn't want to try to take money from either of these crazy mutherfuckers, but the Burnaby Velodrome Club has a different plan:

SUB|DIVISION 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

December 21 @ Lucky Bar

End the world with sub|division

Badgers be gettin' rad or dyin' tryin'.

There will be a pre-game.

#slulu2013

Tools of the trade.
Gillian just returned from the first team training camp in Portugal with Specialized Lululemon. From the few stories I have heard so far, it sounds like like this team is not only an amazing group of athletes, but a badass crew.

We are excited to follow the team through 2013 over at velociosports.com. So, without any further adieu, here is the first post from Gillian Carleton for Specialized Lululemon:

2012 Cyclocross Season Wrap

What a season.

From the first hot and dusty races in early September, through the last mud-soaked weekend of November, the Stuckylife crew have been chasing 'the perfect hour' on Vancouver Island's cyclocross courses.

Phenomenal performances from good friends, team members, and close rivals have made for some hard races and great spectating.

The Cross on the Rock crew do a remarkable job in running their series. With what may be the highest attendance of any cyclocross series in Canada, we're honored to contribute to the high calibre of racing in the area.

Click through for a quick thank you and a selection of fine photographs from our own Geoff Robson.

Mical Dyck, SSCXWC champ!

Big news out of LA.

Mical Dyck, good friend and compatriot of the Stuckylife crew, keeps racking up wins this season.
