Steven has assembled an epic shit mix of bike racing brilliance.
This Look 585 has been raced, ridden and thrashed for the past three seasons.
Seeing use in local and regional road races, it's owner is a real character of Victoria's bike racing scene. Steven Grandy is a privateer Cat. 2 road racer, with support from Stuckylife and Broad Street Cycles.
Day-to-day he works for Select Express as a bike courier, and currently holds all of the elevator KOMs in the downtown core.
The 48cm Look has a healthy patina acquired through stage races, time trials, and downtown bike courier work.
Damaged at the dropout on the RH seatstay, Vancouver's Roberts Composites repaired the carbon and laid down some matching white paint to clean up the site.
A gold Stuckylife.com sticker offers some icing on the chaos cake.

This Look is one of the last of their french-made lugged carbon masterpieces. Externally routed cables, a threaded BB shell, and small-diamater (aero!) tubes make for a classy, long-term race rig.
Typifying Steve's commitment to utility, he runs a LH SRAM shift lever paired to a Force front derailleur. On the right sits a Shimano Ultegra lever, articulating a Dura-Ace 7800 rear derailleur. This bike abounds with similar instances of available function over form: take a close look at some of those details!

As well, a huge shout-out to Geoff Robson for the stunning photo set.
