Bike Check: Sam's Marinoni Pista

A veneer of mud and grit on Sam's new Marinoni is the finishing touch on a very nicely built track bike.

Ordered in anticipation of the upcoming race season at the Westshore Velodrome, this Canadian-made steel track bike will see more than just 333m of concrete.

Already one alleycat deep, and many long road rides, coffee shop runs, and summer days to come, it's designed to do double duty as a race bike & street whip.

Geoff Robson was kind enough to photograph this Pista after the Bridge Battle! alleycat. His excellent photography does justice to the super clean build that Sam has assembled.
