I gave up my spot on the express bus to a guy on a TT bike. Rode to the tunnel entrance and boarded the first bus. Went to White Rock instead of Tsawwassen. Headwind. Bought a 5pm ticket at 3:01 and snuck on to the 3 as the ramp went up.
The rest of the trip was awesome too. Crashed an industry event, a moonlit Malahat climb, midnight chili, snow flurries and footbags. Winter miles count double.
