In it's sixth iteration, the Blubber Burn classic is back to provide many flat tires, fireworks, recovery pops, pukey sensations, and sick lines.
This race has long been supported by Stuckylife, and we are psyched to bring it back to Hartland MTB park yet again. Running over some highly technical terrain, it is guaranteed to be the most test CX course of your season. Think rocky roll-downs, slick moss & gnarled roots. Many dicey fire road bombs. Berms. Barriers.
Vancouver Island's dumbest cross race.
Now in it's sixth year the Blubber Burn is a cross race on Mountain bike trails.
If you have a cross bike, race that or be scolded hard.
If you don't have a cross bike you can race a mountain bike but it must be singlespeeded.
Mountain bikes will also be held back at the start.
Fancy race clothing encouraged.
$5 Race fee to support Stuckylife.
If you have to take a ferry to get here the race is free.

SEMIPRESTIGE SERIES UPDATE
As our informal three-race series draws to a close, points are tight between racers.
The Blubber Burn will be the last of our CX races this year, and a final chance to leap frog the competition into a position of ever-lasting glory.
